What is the difference between FB2 and FBZ?
FB2 is a FictionBook ebook stored as XML. FBZ is a ZIP archive containing an FB2 book. Both work here, but an encrypted FBZ archive cannot be opened.
Will the original FictionBook page numbers be preserved?
FictionBook content is reflowable rather than tied to fixed pages. Its sections are laid out on A4 paper, so the resulting page breaks depend on the book content and styles.
Will notes, links and text remain interactive?
They appear as part of the rendered page, but the scanned PDF contains page images. Links are not clickable and text is not selectable, so keep the FB2 or FBZ for ebook features.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Standard and bulk scanning process source documents in your browser without sending those files to a processing server. HTML files may load linked online resources such as images or fonts while they are rendered.
Is it free, and is there a limit?
