Frequently asked questions

Will scripts and interactive HTML run?

The file is rendered as a printable document. Executable markup is removed, so scripts, embedded frames and interactive page behavior are not included in the scanned PDF.

Why might the preview differ from the original web page?

The HTML is repaginated on A4 paper and browser print layout can differ from the original screen. Linked HTTPS images or fonts may be requested; missing resources can leave gaps or change the layout.

Will links and text remain usable in the PDF?

They are visible on the rendered pages, but the output contains page images. Links are not clickable and text is not selectable, so keep the HTML source for editing or interaction.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

Standard and bulk scanning process source documents in your browser without sending those files to a processing server. HTML files may load linked online resources such as images or fonts while they are rendered.

Is it free, and is there a limit?

Standard scanning is free and needs no signup. Free scans have a fixed daily limit; Pro lifts it and also unlocks bulk scanning, an ad-free workspace and API access.
