Does the SVG stay as vector artwork?
No. The SVG is rasterized before the scan effect is applied. Choose enough resolution for the size of text and lines you need, especially if the PDF will be printed.
What happens to transparent parts of the SVG?
The SVG is first drawn on a white background. That rendered image is then placed on the selected paper, so transparent areas do not remain transparent in the output.
Can one SVG create several PDF pages?
One SVG becomes one source page. For a multi-page design, export and check a PDF in your design app first, then select that PDF here to add the scan effect.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Standard and bulk scanning process source documents in your browser without sending those files to a processing server. HTML files may load linked online resources such as images or fonts while they are rendered.
Is it free, and is there a limit?
