- Select your .tex or .latex source file here. It is typeset in your browser, so no TeX installation is needed.
- Check sections, equations and tables in the preview. Adjust paper size, margins and scan effects to keep small print readable.
- Select “Generate Scanned PDF”, then “Download Scanned PDF” to save the typeset document with a scan effect.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need LaTeX installed to use this?
No. The .tex file is typeset in your browser and never leaves your device. Support is in beta and covers a subset of LaTeX.
Which LaTeX features are supported?
Sections and numbering, cross-references, lists, tables, figures with captions, a bibliography, and math including displayed equations. Packages loaded with \usepackage are ignored, and TikZ drawings, BibTeX and TeX primitives are not supported; an unsupported command is marked in the preview instead of failing the document.
Why are the page breaks different from my compiled PDF?
Pages are laid out by the browser rather than by TeX, so line and page breaks do not match your own PDF exactly, and figures kept in separate files are left blank. When the layout has to match, compile your PDF as usual and select that PDF here instead.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Standard and bulk scanning process source documents in your browser without sending those files to a processing server. HTML files may load linked online resources such as images or fonts while they are rendered.
Is it free, and is there a limit?
Standard scanning is free and needs no signup. Free scans have a fixed daily limit; Pro lifts it and also unlocks bulk scanning, an ad-free workspace and API access.
